Hi! We are scooterists and have been looking for a toy hauler so we can take our scooters camping. Tomorrow we are meeting with someone to consider the purchase of a 2009 Forest River Rockwood Fr 282TXR. To have a pop up and trailer combo seems ideal. I have a 1996 Rockwood pop up tent trailer, Signature 1260 and the top will not crank up after cranking it down. I found a roll pin sheared in the sprocket that turns the shaft that turns the rear portion of the mechanisum. Was this caused by cranking to hard or is this the cause of not being able to crank it up?

I have a 2002 Rockwood 2270, I was wanting to know if this model had electric brakes? If it does have the brakes, how do I go to get everything hooked up. I know I will need to add a battery.
